Apistogramma trifasciata. These are probably our most popular, blue coloured apistogrammas with 3 lateral lines. The males are spectacular with long dorsal rays and am attitude to match. Females are yellow and bit smaller.
These fish are beautiful when fully mature and make a fantastic centerpiece for your aquarium. They are relatively mild in nature but are not timid. They enjoy the front of the tank. Males enjoy showing off and erecting their long finnage. The males grow larger than the female.
